Pharmacy Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Morrisons Pharmacy. As a Pharmacy Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of pharmacy professionals in providing exceptional customer service and delivering high-quality pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of pharmacy professionals in providing excellent customer service and delivering high-quality pharmacy services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve pharmacy services and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the pharmacy team's schedules, holidays, and working time to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Collaborate with other pharmacy colleagues to provide support and advice, while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to data security protocols.
  • Coach and lead the pharmacy team to achieve agreed-upon Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide direction and guidance to pharmacy colleagues to ensure a safe and effective workflow.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmacy standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the ordering and replenishment of pharmacy stock and control the sale of medicines.
  • Build relationships with General Practitioners and other healthcare professionals in the community.
  • Use expert knowledge to maximize services and sales while adhering to clinical, ethical, and legal requirements.
Requirements:
  • Pharmacy degree
  • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
  • Experience working in the community pharmacy sector
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to delivering pharmacy services and KPIs
  • Ability to deliver high-level customer service and build relationships with customers, colleagues, and the community
