The Opportunity
As a Strategic Business Director - Client Partnership Lead, you will be responsible for leading the account team for key clients, including Kao (John Frieda, Curel, Molton Brown), FREE NOW, Gridserve, and the Department for Levelling Up Housing and Communities.
Your primary objective will be to drive business growth through effective client relationship management, strategic planning, and innovative campaign development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing client development plans to drive business growth and increase revenue
- Leading the account team to deliver high-quality work that meets client expectations
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated marketing strategies
- Providing expert guidance on media planning and buying, ensuring optimal ROI for clients
- Maintaining strong relationships with senior clients, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion
- Partnering with Strategy to develop and execute big-picture knowledge sharing work tailored to client needs
- Developing and presenting comms and media strategies for each client
- Training and mentoring junior team members to ensure skills development and succession planning
- Identifying opportunities for award entries and recognizing great work across the agency
- Active participation in leadership of new business pitches

Requirements
We're looking for someone with:
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing large teams, with expertise in hybrid working
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with confidence in front of clients
- Ability to anticipate issues and proactively produce solutions with measurable outcomes
- Up-to-date expertise in all media channels, with commercial acumen and business insight
