Main Duties and Responsibilities- Receive, interpret, and dispense prescriptions in accordance with departmental standard operating procedures.
- Undertake the ordering, issuing, and receipt of medication on wards and day units to maintain accurate records and ensure patient safety.
- Participate in the goods receipt of drugs and other pharmaceuticals into the pharmacy department, ensuring that all items are accurately recorded and stored.
As a Pharmacy Team Member, you will work under the professional and clinical supervision of our experienced pharmacy team, adhering to strict quality control procedures and ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standard.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for someone who has:
- NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent, or willingness to work towards.
- Evidence of recent development, such as skills updating.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients and staff.
- Able to work flexibly to meet the needs of our service.
- Basic IT skills, with the ability to accurately record and maintain patient information.
