Care and Support Specialist

At Prometheus Safe and Secure, we are looking for experienced healthcare professionals to join our team as Healthcare Assistants in mental health. This is a permanent role based in Stevenage, supporting qualified nursing staff in providing high-quality care.
The main duties of the job include:
- Assisting the Operations Manager in ensuring all staff follow agreed policies and procedures.
- Taking precautions to safeguard the welfare and safety of staff, patients, and the public.
- Ensuring accurate and timely records, reporting any issues as appropriate.
We offer a competitive salary of £24,000-£28,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including training and development opportunities.

Prometheus Safe and Secure is a specialist operator in the mental health sector, providing rapid response services to NHS Trusts and private hospitals across the UK.
We specialise in securing transportation and therapeutic observational care for people with various mental health needs, using prestige vehicles that offer a safe and comfortable environment.
Our teams include registered mental health nurses and care assistants who provide a bespoke wrap-around care-taking service with a holistic approach.
Person Specification:
- Demonstrate excellent English language and communication skills.
- Hold a Healthcare related NVQ, BTEC or equivalent at Level 3 National Care Certificate.
- Have a UK 3 year working employment history.
- Have previous experience working as a Health Care Assistant in primary care and in mental health.
