Job Title: PI Consultant

We are seeking a highly skilled PI Consultant to join our team at Wynne Consulting. As a PI Consultant, you will play a key role in providing technical expertise to our clients, assisting them in driving towards the OTT vision with respect to the AVEVA PI software portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Understand customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions to scope consultancy and project work for AVEVA PI products.
  • Propose robust solution architectures that meet customer needs.
  • Deliver consultancy and project work to time, cost, and quality requirements.
  • Assist in responding to customer RFI/RFPs.
  • Lead and assist with the delivery of Proof of Value projects using the full range of AVEVA PI software.
  • Deliver PI health checks and in-depth obsolescence, security, upgrade, and governance audits.
  • Support customers with technical issues and identify new opportunities for future growth.
  • Interact effectively with customers on a technical and commercial level from engineer to C-level.
  • Escalate technical and/or commercial concerns to your line manager.
  • Provide high-level support to internal and external customers, while offering an escalation path from the service desk team.
Requirements:
  • Thorough understanding of the AVEVA PI portfolio from a value proposition to delivery level.
  • Deep understanding of communications drivers and other data interfaces, including OPCUA, MQTT, and the ability to configure and troubleshoot from PLC to ERP system.
  • Essential willingness to learn new software and hardware skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
  • Alignment to company values.
  • Experience developing and supporting high-end PI solutions.
  • Data and information management skills.
  • Python scripting.
  • Experience with APIs and PI System Access (PSA).
