Job Title: Senior Creative Music Consultant

Evolving Sound is a leading music company at the forefront of trailer music innovation, working with a roster of exceptional composers, producers, and artists to deliver class-leading music for theatrical trailers, video game promotion, and entertainment marketing.

We're looking for a highly skilled and motivated Associate Creative Director to help expand and develop our creative capacity on both the custom and catalogue side. This is a dynamic, creative, client-facing role that requires a great work ethic, high organization, and motivation, as well as a passion for music, movies, and music sync.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience working with music in a professional capacity, ideally in a sync environment, and will be able to interpret client briefs and notes, present them to composers, and provide detailed feedback to refine and improve submissions. They will also be responsible for developing creative concepts for albums and playlists, keeping abreast of developments and trends across the trailer music landscape, and reflecting these in our creative output.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating custom music assignments on trailer projects, liaising with clients and composers, and dealing with the production demands of these exacting requests.
  • Interpreting client briefs and notes, presenting them to composers, and providing detailed feedback to refine and improve submissions.
  • Developing creative concepts for albums and playlists, pushing the boundaries of genres and styles to keep our catalogue fresh and innovative.
  • Keeping abreast of developments and trends across the trailer music landscape and reflecting these in our creative output.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience working with music in a professional capacity, ideally in a sync environment.
  • Great communication and creative writing skills, supporting high-level interaction with clients and composers.
  • A genuine passion for music, movies, and music sync.
  • A constructive and helpful attitude that supports a small team.
  • Familiarity with music production software and techniques, licensing and delivery formats.
