Trail Access Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Trail Access Specialist to join our team at DiverseJobsMatter. As part of the Putting Downs Routes Project, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop new audiences, deliver enhancements on and around the trail, and support the recruitment and training of North Downs Way Ambassadors.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a project that seeks to make the countryside more inclusive and welcoming to all people. We are looking for someone with a passion for accessibility, excellent communication skills, and experience working in the outdoors or countryside sectors.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the North Downs Way National Trail and its surrounding communities. They must be able to demonstrate their ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including flexible working arrangements, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for professional development.
- Degree in Outdoor Education, Recreation, or a related field
- Proven experience in trail maintenance and management
- Strong knowledge of accessibility principles and practices
