Head of Community Management

Adecco UK LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Community Management to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders across various departments and business partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date portfolio information and associated roadmap details.
  • Provide oversight and coordination of portfolio activities with other Heads of Portfolio.
  • Ensure alignment between change initiatives within a portfolio and the strategic objectives of the organization.
  • Make recommendations to governance groups as required, providing key information to enable prioritization decisions.
  • Take ownership of all change within a portfolio, from opportunity to closure and benefits realization.
  • Lead the financial review of change within a portfolio, comparing estimates against actuals for Epics or Projects.
  • Plan and manage resources within each portfolio in accordance with established frameworks.
  • Exercise line management responsibility for change delivery staff.
  • Recruit to the portfolio team as needed.
  • Demonstrate that change initiatives within the portfolio are conducted within the capacity of the organization.
  • Engage stakeholders to secure realization of intended benefits.
  • Report actual benefits relative to intended benefits over the longer term.
  • Provide regular portfolio status updates and make recommendations.
  • Chair portfolio governance meetings.
  • Identify and share lessons learned.
  • Establish effective working partnerships with stakeholders from outside of IT as required.
  • Coordinate portfolio reporting and cross-portfolio risks and dependencies.
  • Contribute to organizational strategy governing the direction and conduct of project management, including application of appropriate methodologies.
  • Maintain and monitor budget across the portfolio (estimated in the £m's).

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in CRM (Dynamics ideally).
  • Ability to build relationships across a wide stakeholder community and business partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in change management and portfolio coordination.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and frameworks.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational strategy.
