About the Role
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable MGV Driver to join our team at Royal Mail. As a member of our driving team, you will be the public face of Royal Mail and an established part of the community.
Key responsibilities include collecting bulk mail from major customers, Post Offices, and transporting mail between our Mail Centres and Delivery offices at prearranged times. You will also be responsible for loading and unloading your van and sorting mail into correct onward distribution.
About You
We are looking for someone who is upbeat and self-motivated, with a strong sense of community. You will be happy working alone as well as part of a team and getting to know the different people on your round. Some experience in a customer-facing role would be ideal.
Requirements
A full UK manual driving licence is essential, with less than 6 penalty points. You must also have obtained your Periodic Driver Certificate of Professional Competence qualification (CPC) and hold a valid Drivers Qualification Card (DQC) with 35 hours training.
