TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join a boutique, well-established, and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks.
This chartered firm of accountants has developed a strong reputation across Kent, the South, and nationally, acting for growing businesses consisting of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and large corporates. As a result of ongoing growth and planning for the future, the partners are looking to bring in the right Corporate Tax Manager to bolster their team.
This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience across all areas of corporate tax, including EIS and R&D, and lead on corporate finance work, involving prestigious business transactions with top brands.
As Corporate Tax Manager, you will work across reviewing compliance and providing advisory services to a mixed portfolio of owner-managed businesses across Kent and the South-East. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with tax advisory work, including EIS and share schemes
- Helping with mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations, and tax due diligence
- Preparing R&D tax relief claims
- Preparing corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies/groups
- Overseeing and reviewing the corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met
- Supervising more junior members of staff
Requirements:
- ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience with a career background in corporate tax or a mixed tax background
- Advisory/planning tax experience gained within an accounting firm or tax boutique firm
- Background developed within a firm of any size environment, from small independent to Top Tier firm
Benefits:
- Competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable
