Corporate Tax Manager

TPF Recruitment, a leading accountancy practice recruitment agency in Kent, is seeking a highly skilled Corporate Tax Manager to join an excellent chartered accountancy practice based in Sevenoaks.
This chartered firm of accountants has developed a strong reputation across Kent, the South, and nationally, acting for interesting and growing businesses within the entrepreneurial and technology sectors.
This is an exciting position where you will gain experience across all areas of corporate tax, including specialist areas such as EIS, EMI, and R&D, as well as restructuring and corporate finance tax work.
In addition to corporate work, there is an opportunity to oversee a personal tax portfolio, tailored to your experience and aspirations.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with tax advisory work, including EIS and share schemes.
- Help with mergers, acquisitions, reorganisations, and tax due diligence.
- Prepare R&D tax relief claims.
- Prepare corporation tax computations and returns for larger, more complex companies/groups.
- Oversee and review the corporation tax compliance function to ensure deadlines are met.
- Supervise more junior members of staff.
- Opportunity to oversee a personal tax portfolio, encompassing compliance and IHT planning.
- ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA qualified or qualified by experience with a career background in corporate tax or mixed tax.
- Advisory/planning tax experience, gained within an accounting firm or tax boutique firm of any size.
- Background developed within a firm of any size environment, from small independent to Top Tier firm, seeking a career move offering development and progression potential.
- Competitive salary, £55,000 - £75,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
