Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Curriculum Developer to join our team. As a key member of our education department, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our curriculum, ensuring that it meets the needs of our students and aligns with our vision for a dynamic economy.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in education, curriculum development, and leadership. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of our curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of our students and aligns with our vision
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to design and deliver high-quality curriculum programs
- Conduct research and analysis to inform curriculum development and improvement
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, businesses, and educational institutions
- Ensure the effective management of resources, including budgeting and personnel
Requirements
The successful candidate will hold a relevant degree in education or a related field, and have significant experience in curriculum development, leadership, and education. They will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and the community.
Salary and Benefits
The salary for this role is £57,000 per annum, with a range of benefits including a pension scheme, annual leave, and opportunities for professional development.

It is a legal requirement for any teacher teaching in a Scottish state school to be registered with GTC Scotland, General Teaching Council (Scotland) Registration.
