Mental Health Care Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate mental health care specialist to provide specialist care for children and young people with complex mental health needs in the UK.

As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care while promoting the wellbeing and recovery of patients.


Requirements:
  • A Registered Nurse Qualification (RMN) and a valid UK NMC Pin.
  • A clear DBS check.
  • Experience in developing care plans, conducting assessments, and working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care & Safety: Ensure the care, welfare, and safety of all patients is upheld to the highest standards.
  • Assessment & Care Planning: Conduct thorough physical and psychological assessments of new patients and create tailored care plans to meet individual needs.
  • Daily Care Plan Updates: Regularly update care plans, ensuring they reflect the evolving needs of each patient.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer and accurately record medication as per patient care requirements.
  • Staff Performance & Rotas: Monitor and support care staff performance, and ensure efficient staffing rotas are in place to meet the needs of the service.
  • Person-Centred Care: Use a person-centred approach to ensure all patients' needs are met with privacy, dignity, and respect.

Salary Information:

The salary for this position is up to £39,900 per annum, reflecting the importance of this role in delivering exceptional patient care.
