Pastoral Care Specialist

We are looking for a skilled Pastoral Care Specialist to join our team at NextGen Teachers. This vital role involves providing tailored support and guidance to students with SEMH, ensuring they have access to the resources and opportunities needed to thrive academically and personally.
Main Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate the delivery of ISIP and other support initiatives to promote positive relationships and behaviors among pupils.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance student engagement, motivation, and confidence.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure seamless transition between lessons and social activities.
Candidates should possess strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and effective communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students from diverse backgrounds. A deep understanding of SEMH and its impact on student behavior is also essential.
