We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Children's Residential Carer (Level 2) in one of our progressive and supportive children's homes.

About the Role:

  • Supervision and Shift Leading: You will be responsible for supervising and leading shifts, ensuring the well-being and safety of the children in your care.
  • Developing Projects and Direct Work with Children: You will work closely with the children to develop projects and direct work plans, helping them to achieve their goals and overcome challenges.
  • Mentoring New Staff and Leading Practice Areas: As a experienced carer, you will mentor new staff members and lead practice areas, promoting best practice and excellence in care.
  • Chairing Professional Meetings: You will chair professional meetings, ensuring that all relevant stakeholders are informed and involved in decision-making processes.
  • Managing Household Tasks and Preparing Young People for Independent Living: You will manage household tasks and prepare young people for independent living, helping them to develop essential life skills.

Salary: £31,586 - £34,314 per annum, plus a sleeping-in payment of £41. Overtime paid at time-and-a-half.
