Senior Child Protection Specialist

Opus People Solutions, on behalf of Telford & Wrekin Council, has an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join their Safeguarding and Family Support Team.
Salary: £28.55 - £30.57 per hour
Job Type: Permanent contract initially 3 months
About the RoleThis role involves managing a caseload with varying complexity, leading on complex assessments and providing evidence in court. As a key member of the Safeguarding and Family Support Team, you will make high-quality judgments in complex, risky, and uncertain situations, acting with confidence and autonomy.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years post-qualifying social work experience and be able to assess situations effectively to determine appropriate interventions and anticipate possible progress without pre-judging. They will also integrate professional knowledge, service user views, and research/evaluation evidence into practice.
