Senior Regulatory Lawyer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Regulatory Lawyer to join our in-house legal team at LAW Absolute. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead our compliance function and drive organisational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the subject matter expert on day-to-day health & safety, food safety, and general regulatory and compliance matters.
  • Undertake audits on company processes, practices, and internal guidelines to identify risk/threat areas.
  • Lead on regulation updates and legislative changes, ensuring compliance across operations, supply chains, and stores.
  • Drive key projects within the company, focusing on risk and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Lawyer with UK or Commonwealth experience.
  • Previous experience in regulatory/compliance/health and safety, with a strong track record of working with regulators.
  • Strong report writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality reports and user guidance notes.
  • Confidence in managing robust conversations with regulators, with the ability to push back when necessary.
