Sales and Marketing Portfolio Manager

About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced retail sales professional within the bathroom industry to inherit a solid client base, manage accounts, close deals, and target new opportunities to grow the area while working closely with a supportive senior leadership team.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in retail sales within the bathroom industry and strong experience in managing and developing relationships with independent retailers and national merchant showrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct meaningful customer contacts/meetings (a mix of face-to-face or remote) to promote brand awareness and drive sales opportunities.
- Manage and coordinate the roll-out of new product displays to ensure optimal brand presence in mid-to-high-end independent retailers and showrooms.
- Negotiate stock and pricing for small stock deals with key showroom partners.
- Deliver in-branch training programs for showroom staff and affiliated installers, focusing on the full range of bathroom products and their applications.
- Support exhibitions and end-user related activities where necessary to promote brand awareness.
- Drive high customer engagement through a consultative and tailored sales approach.
- Manage a portfolio of around 130 active clients, generating approximately £1m annually.
- Balance key account management (70%) with new business development (30%) to maintain and grow the region.
- Track and analyse account performance, setting measures and targets to ensure continuous positive sales growth.
- Provide regular feedback to the Sales Director to help improve service and sales performance.
- Ensure consistent use of CRM to log activity
