Senior Technical Product Manager

Insight Global is seeking a seasoned Senior Technical Product Manager to lead the planning and delivery of technically complex projects. This 6-month contract opportunity has the potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Engineering Teams to develop and execute project plans, ensuring clear communication of engineering commitments and capacity.
  • Develop strategic and tactical delivery plans, including impact assessments for technical areas.
  • Support and guide planning initiatives within domains, ensuring adherence to governance structures and decision-making processes.
  • Maintain accuracy and appropriateness of GPO reporting standards, meeting all deadlines.
  • Keep all relevant parties informed about team status and progress.
  • Provide updates to the Technical Program Manager for inclusion in communications to senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate proactively with other Engineering teams and Workstream Project Managers.
  • Identify and escalate risks while proposing and executing strategic and tactical mitigation plans.
  • Work with the team to ensure all quality criteria for customer deployments are met, coordinating feature deployment with relevant teams.
  • Accurately track team status, key milestones, and progress; help identify impediments and support resolution efforts.

Requirements:

  • 7 years of experience in IT product management.
  • 3 years of technical experience in large, complex projects.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from inception to completion, including road mapping and risk mitigation.
  • Proficient in agile methodologies, including running daily stand-ups and 2-week sprints.
  • Experience with project tracking tools, such as JIRA or Confluence.
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience collaborating with stakeholders and executive leadership.
