Position Overview

The Amazon Security Assurance team plays a critical role in showcasing the security measures associated with our services. Given Amazon's vast scale, we continuously innovate to ensure the highest level of assurance for our security-conscious clientele.

We are in search of a driven individual with expertise in security domains and controls to join our team. In this position, you will:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of Amazon's security controls and the evidence required to support these controls.
  • Collaborate with control owners to produce documentation that meets Amazon's compliance standards.
  • Understand Amazon's operational processes related to security controls and effectively communicate these to various stakeholders through presentations, interviews, and demonstrations.
Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a subject-matter expert on Amazon's security controls across various domains.
  • Managing requests for evidence that illustrates the implementation of key security controls.
  • Communicating operational processes regarding Amazon's security practices to key stakeholders.
  • Identifying risks and areas for program enhancement, while fostering collaboration and diverse input for improvement initiatives.
  • Addressing inquiries in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Diving deep into Amazon's control environment to develop a thorough understanding of security activities and compliance articulation.
  • Facilitating communication between stakeholders and technical teams regarding control implementation.
  • Maintaining a structured approach to manage multiple stakeholder expectations concurrently.
