We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Research Associate/Fellow to join our team at the Biodiscovery Institute, working on a Medical Research Council funded project using advanced molecular genetics techniques.

The role involves working closely with Professors Ian Sayers and Gleb Yakubov, as well as researchers from the Universities of Nottingham, Leicester, Manchester, Imperial College London and AstraZeneca.

The main objective of the project is to gain a deeper understanding of the genetic, molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying mucus production in the airways of patients with severe asthma.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in genomics, molecular and cell biology, and will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Salary Range: £31,387 - £46,485 per annum, dependent on skills and experience (minimum £34,866 with relevant PhD).
