We are seeking an enthusiastic, well organized and highly motivated individual to join our team in the Genomics and Molecular Medicine Service, Nottingham University Hospitals Trust.

You will be required to undertake a range of laboratory tasks to support the operation of this laboratory. Main duties include laboratory housekeeping and monitoring, booking in and processing specimens and reagents, DNA extraction, genotyping and to assist with genetic analysis using a range of laboratory techniques. The key purpose is to support the laboratory in the delivery of a high quality diagnostic service.

The department brings together cytogenetics and molecular expertise into one genomics laboratory service. It is small and friendly department with close working relationships with colleagues from clinical genetics and cancer.

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
