About the role:

  • Support service users on their dependency and recovery journey, providing screening, assessment, and onward referral.
  • Reduce dependency and recovery-related harm to service users and the wider community.
  • Promote carer, service user, and community involvement.
  • Work with service users to support social reintegration and enable them to lead meaningful and purposeful lives.

About you:

  • 2 years' experience of working within criminal justice, substance misuse, or social care services.
  • Commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professions.
  • Extensive knowledge of the issues facing offenders, including substance misuse and health.
  • Experience of delivering groups or pods and managing group dynamics.
  • Accomplished written and verbal communication skills.
