SEN Teacher for Boys and Girls

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join our team at Waterloo Lodge School, an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 11-18 with a wide range of needs. As a SEN Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to our pupils, helping them to achieve their full potential and develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in life.
Key Responsibilities- Teach a range of subjects, including food technology and RSHE, to pupils with complex needs and learning difficulties.
- Develop and implement engaging and motivating lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of each pupil.
- Work collaboratively with the Deputy Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team to ensure the smooth running of the school and the delivery of high-quality education.
- Contribute to the development of the school's curriculum and policies, ensuring that they are inclusive and meet the needs of all pupils.
- Degree-level qualification with QTS/QTLS.
- Secondary or primary teaching experience, preferably with a focus on SEN.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the development of the school's policies and procedures.
