Business Development and Sales Engineer Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Development and Sales Engineer to join our clients UK Sales team based in Gainsborough, a World leading supplier of Filling, Sealing and Packing solutions for the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities.
  • Generate new accounts and explore new market areas to drive sales growth.
  • Provide customer contact and support, including taking enquiries and raising quotations.
  • Attend sales visits nationally and internationally to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Project manage all intercompany sales enquiries of UK manufactured products.
  • Liaise with the accounts department to raise invoices and manage customer orders.
  • Act as a point of contact for sister companies, sales offices, and agents/distributors.
  • Organise exhibitions and trade shows as required.
Requirements:
  • A high achiever with a track record of delivering rapid and sustainable business growth.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver solutions.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to work with different teams to progress accounts and customer requests.
  • Confident and dynamic with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Industry experience in labelling and/or packaging is preferred.
  • Computer literate with experience of working with CRM systems.
  • A full, clean driving licence is required.
