Senior Business Development Manager Job Description

Aspion is a leading manufacturer of high-quality fasteners and engineering solutions. We are committed to innovation, collaboration, and transparency, and we are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to join our team in Newtown, Wales.

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 10 sales professionals, including the UK sales team and the export team in Germany.
  • Create individual KPIs for employees and ensure their achievement through effective monitoring and feedback.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the fastener industry or Engineering, exceptional leadership skills, and experience selling to resellers. You will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with key customers, identifying new business opportunities, and developing strategies to expand the customer base.

In addition to your sales expertise, you will also be responsible for preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, following up on quotes, and ensuring timely and accurate responses to customers. You will also monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
