We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Residential Home Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our children's residential homes in Oldham and Ashton-under-Lyne. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting children and young people with special educational needs, disabilities, and social/emotional challenges.

Our client, DMD Partners, is a not-for-profit interest company that provides wrap-around support services and intervention for children, young people, and families. We have an outstanding reputation in our field and are committed to delivering high-quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of one residential home, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for our young people.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and maintain high standards of care and support.
  • Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with staff and professionals, ensuring the needs of our young people are met.
  • Lead and manage staff, providing training and development opportunities to ensure effective performance.
  • Promote positive relationships with families, social workers, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain safeguarding, child protection, and welfare standards, ensuring the safety and well-being of our young people.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the home, including occasional evening and weekend work.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a residential care setting, preferably with children and young people.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team, ensuring effective performance and high standards of care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with families, social workers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including occasional evening and weekend work.
