We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD researcher to join our team at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project investigating the dynamics of immune Hedgehog signaling in health and disease.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-depth research on immune Hedgehog signaling pathways using chromobody technology, bespoke mouse models, and proximity labeling techniques.
- Work with murine and human immune cells to gain fundamental mechanistic insight into the dynamics of immune Hedgehog signaling.
- Collaborate with our team to design and implement experiments, analyze data, and draw conclusions.
- Present research findings at international conferences and publish papers in top-tier scientific journals.
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as immunology, molecular biology, or biochemistry.
- Strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, and immunology.
- Experience with chromobody technology, mouse models, and proximity labeling techniques is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic research environment.
- A four-year PhD studentship, fully funded by the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, including full University fees and a stipend of £21,000 per annum.
