Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD researcher to join our team at the Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a cutting-edge project investigating the dynamics of immune Hedgehog signaling in health and disease.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research on immune Hedgehog signaling pathways using chromobody technology, bespoke mouse models, and proximity labeling techniques.
  • Work with murine and human immune cells to gain fundamental mechanistic insight into the dynamics of immune Hedgehog signaling.
  • Collaborate with our team to design and implement experiments, analyze data, and draw conclusions.
  • Present research findings at international conferences and publish papers in top-tier scientific journals.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field, such as immunology, molecular biology, or biochemistry.
  • Strong background in molecular biology, cell biology, and immunology.
  • Experience with chromobody technology, mouse models, and proximity labeling techniques is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a dynamic research environment.
