About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Home Reablement Assistant. This role involves working with individuals in their homes, providing practical support to help them regain independence and confidence.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the importance of reablement and be able to provide person-centred support to our service users. They will be flexible, adaptable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Salary and Benefits:
£23,893 - £24,702 per annum, plus 10% unsocial hours for qualifying shifts, and a £650 welcome payment upon starting and a further £650 upon successful completion of probation (subject to tax and NI).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing practical support to individuals in their homes, including meal preparation and household tasks.
  • Working closely with occupational therapists to develop and implement personalised reablement plans.
  • Ensuring the highest standards of care and support are maintained at all times.

Requirements:
  • GCSEs or equivalent in relevant subjects.
  • Experience of working in a care environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
