Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Counsellor to provide a flexible counselling service to children and young people facing grief and loss. The successful candidate will work alongside the Bereavement Coordinator to coordinate the Hospice's Bereavement Service.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide a flexible counselling service to children and young people facing grief and loss
- Work alongside the Bereavement Coordinator to coordinate the Hospice's Bereavement Service
- Support and advise patients and carers to enable them to support children and young people in their family
- Degree/Diploma in Child Counselling
- Member of BACP
- Significant post-qualification experience in counselling or equivalent
- Palliative care experience would be advantageous
- Excellent organisational skills
