About the TeamThe HR Operations team is responsible for delivering a seamless and positive employee experience across the entire employee lifecycle. We aim to develop efficient and simple people processes, systems, policies, and programs that support the growth and development of our employees. We are looking for a highly motivated and positive individual who is passionate about employee relations and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Relations Support: Provide a consistent and knowledgeable service in areas including disciplinary, grievance, probation, performance, and long-term sick leave, ensuring all such matters are dealt with in line with policy, best practice, and legislative requirements to mitigate risk.
- Investigations and Analysis: Conduct confidential investigations of complex HR-related concerns and apply critical thinking to analyze evidence and make investigative conclusions.
- Advice and Guidance: Provide sound, expert advice and guidance to business leaders on disciplinary and warning actions related to employee relations cases, policy interpretation, and employment practices.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain required standards of detailed employee relations case documentation, including investigation reports, outcome letters, and issue analysis.
- Training and Development: Curate and deliver relevant training and education to improve HR Business Partner and leader effectiveness and drive better employee relations decisions.
- Project Management: Participate in the identification and delivery of employee relations projects and continuous improvement initiatives to improve the policy framework, increase knowledge within the firm, and expand employee relations capability within the team.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build partnerships with business leaders and HR Business Partners to sustain positive employee relations practices and foster strong working relationships with our Employment Legal team, Ethics Office, and investigations teams to balance risk and calibrate recommendations for decision-making.
- Data Insights and Analysis: Collaborate with key partners on employee relations data insights, trends, and opportunities to drive proactive solutions.
- Preferably a minimum of 5 years of employee relations experience.
- Demonstrated strong understanding of European, Middle East, and Africa employment law and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated policy and procedure development and enforcement to ensure compliance.
- Advantageous to be able to speak French, Spanish, and/or Italian as sometimes conversations are conducted in the local language.
