We are seeking an exceptional doctor to join our team of medical professionals at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust, specialising in Gynaecology and Obstetrics. This role offers the chance to work with a dedicated team, providing 24/7 cover to emergency admissions and inpatients.
The successful candidate will be expected to have completed foundation training or equivalent. The post-holder will participate in an on-call rota and routine elective work in both Gynaecology and Obstetrics, including Caesarean Section lists and administrative tasks. They will also contribute to quality improvement, research, and teaching projects to enhance their surgical portfolio.
This role is based at Birmingham Heartlands Hospital or Good Hope Hospital, with the possibility of working at different sites depending on the needs of the service. Trainees are encouraged to undertake audit projects and develop their skills in leadership and management.

Your Role and Responsibilities- To provide high-quality medical care to patients in Gynaecology and Obstetrics departments.

- To work collaboratively with Consultant, junior doctors, nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent patient care.

Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of £82,841 - £110,683 per annum, dependent on experience. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a generous annual leave allowance, pension scheme, and access to ongoing professional development opportunities.
Requirements- A minimum of 2 years full-time post-graduate training (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
- Demonstrable skills in written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Knowledge of clinical research and its application in Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
