About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Specialist Trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology to join our team as a Clinical Trainer for Undergraduates. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in medical education and contribute to the delivery of high-quality education to undergraduate students.

Main Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality clinical teaching sessions in all clinical areas, assessing clinical core competencies in obstetrics and gynaecology
  • Develop and participate in educational research and innovative teaching materials
  • Aid the continuing improvement of the undergraduate teaching programme at the Birmingham Women's Hospital

Requirements

  • Current MRCOG Part I
  • Demonstrated substantial interest, experience, and enthusiasm for undergraduate and/or postgraduate education
  • Participation in student assessment and small group teaching
  • Evidence of contribution to curriculum planning and course development

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
