The 1st Line Risk Team is responsible for providing training, support, assistance and advice to empower effective risk management, conducting oversight to determine risk management maturity, and identifying areas for further support.

Salary
This role comes with a strong base salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, plus up to 20% bonus. Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Operations Teams to maximise utilisation and benefits of the Group ERMF toolkit, providing risk insight to Heads of Department to support/challenge prioritisation, and building close working relationships with key personnel to design effective controls. They will also provide consolidated Business Area reports to centralised 1st Line Risk Report submission to Risk Committees.

Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the three lines of defence model, First Line Risks' role, and experience with Risk and Control Self Assessments. They will be comfortable influencing senior stakeholders, providing constructive challenge, and having a healthy dissatisfaction with existing ways of working. A focus on risk and control is essential, with a mind-set of 'we've always done it that way'.
