About the Role

We are seeking an experienced nurse to join our leadership team on Allen Ward as a Deputy Ward Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and co-ordinate shifts as Nurse in Charge
  • Positively advocate for patients and actively contribute to their recovery process
  • Maintain high standards of patient care while working within a safe, secure, and supportive environment
  • Dispense and administer medication to patients in line with the 6 Rs and safe medication management
  • Support individual clients in engaging with their local community and reducing social isolation
Requirements
  • Registered Mental Health Nurse or Registered Learning Disability Nurse
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively in acute situations to maintain the safety of staff and patients
