Job Summary:

Burman Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our public sector organisation. This is a pivotal role within our Human Resources & Organisational Development team, where you will work closely with senior leadership and various departments to drive strategic HR initiatives that align with our organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert HR advice and support to ensure that HR practices are integrated into the business and that all HR strategies, policies, and processes support our mission of delivering outstanding public services.
  • Partner with senior management to understand business needs and provide HR solutions that align with organisational objectives.
  • Manage complex employee relations issues, providing advice and support to managers and employees, and ensuring compliance with employment law and best practices.
  • Support the implementation of talent management strategies, including succession planning, workforce planning, and career development initiatives.
  • Lead and support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to the workforce.
  • Guide managers through the performance management process, including appraisals, feedback, and development plans.
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently across the organisation and are aligned with public sector standards.
  • Promote and embed diversity and inclusion within all HR practices and throughout the organisation.
  • Lead and contribute to HR projects that drive organisational improvement and enhance employee experience.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing priorities.
