The Role
This role involves supporting an active young lady in her 40s who enjoys swimming, sensory keep fit classes, bowling, cinema club, and listening to music. She also values spending quality time with her family and has two spaniels at home.
You will be responsible for assisting with personal care, medication, wheelchair use, food shopping, and meal preparation.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the individual to maintain their independence and engage in activities they enjoy
- Assisting with daily living tasks such as bathing, dressing, and using the toilet
- Administering medication as required
- Providing wheelchair assistance and support with mobility
- Aiding with food shopping and meal preparation
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a patient and caring approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A full UK driving licence is essential, as well as a commitment to providing person-centred care.
