Job Role

The Public Policy Executive position at Harris Hill Charity Recruitment Specialists offers a unique opportunity for a skilled individual to drive impactful policy initiatives and contribute to enhancing the lives of society's members. This permanent role is based in London and involves working closely with the external affairs team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting thorough research to gather relevant information and staying informed about the evolving political landscape.
  • Developing expertise in policy areas related to health issues and membership needs.
  • Producing high-quality documents, such as briefings, reports, and presentations, that provide essential evidence to stakeholders.
  • Maintaining and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders to stay informed about the wider policy landscape.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge of the healthcare industry, either through a membership organization, charity, or patient-facing organization.
  • Experience in the policy environment with a focus on health policy.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, enabling complex information to be conveyed effectively to diverse audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.

Additional benefits include:

  • A competitive salary range of £30,000-£34,000 per annum.
  • Full-time, permanent employment status.
  • Hybrid working arrangements, allowing 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
