Job Description:

We are seeking a Director of Public Policy to join our team at Pay Limited. This is a unique opportunity to shape the company's public policy agenda and influence key stakeholders across the payments industry.

As a senior advisor, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of effective policy strategies to promote Pay Limited's interests and position
  • Engaging with stakeholders, including regulators, industry partners, and government agencies, to promote the company's policy objectives
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure alignment and consistency in policy messaging and advocacy

You will also be responsible for:

  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in the payments industry
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders, including members of the Executive, Board, and colleagues across the business
  • Providing expert policy advice on key strategic issues affecting the UK's retail payment systems and standards

We offer a competitive salary package, including an estimated £100,000 - £140,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will also enjoy a range of benefits, including 30 days annual leave, a discretionary annual bonus, and a comprehensive pension scheme.
