Early Years Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Assistant to join our team at Essex County Council. As a key member of our nursery/pre-school team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to young children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and develop.
- Support the planning and delivery of engaging activities and play opportunities.
- Work in partnership with parents and carers to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
- Contribute to the maintenance of accurate and effective children's records.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification or equivalent in childcare.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with children and adults.
- Ability to plan and provide activities that promote children's emotional, physical, social, and intellectual development.
About Us: Essex County Council's Adult Community Learning (ACL) provides lifelong learning experiences for Essex residents. Our nursery/pre-school is registered with Ofsted and offers childcare facilities for parents to support their career development and personal growth.
