**Job Title:** Charity Vehicle Operator

We are seeking an experienced Van Driver to join our team and support local families and children. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting donated furniture and other stock from donors, moving stock between our shops and warehouse, and delivering purchased stock to customers.

The ideal candidate will have considerable van driving experience, with the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and lift furniture on a regular basis.

In return for your hard work, we offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus benefits including 27 days holiday, flexible annual leave, and life assurance.

About Us

Helen & Douglas House is a registered hospice charity based in Oxford, providing palliative, respite, end-of-life, and bereavement care to life-limited children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collecting donated furniture and other stock from donors
  • Moving stock between our shops and warehouse
  • Delivering purchased stock to customers

Requirements:

  • Current full driving license
  • Considerable van driving experience
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Able to lift furniture on a regular basis
