**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Execute and oversee the preparation of a variety of pastries and desserts, ensuring high-quality standards and presentation.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to contribute to the creation and refinement of enticing dessert offerings, aligning with our menu development goals.
  • Maintain a clean and organized pastry station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Assist in inventory management, ordering, and maintaining quality control of pastry ingredients, optimizing our supply chain and reducing waste.
  • Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, contributing to the development of a cohesive and skilled culinary team.
  • Actively participate in menu development, bringing forward ideas for continuous improvement and innovation.

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a similar role in a high-end restaurant or luxury establishment, with a strong understanding of various pastry and dessert techniques.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality culinary standards, with a focus on presentation and flavor.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with excellent time management and multitasking skills.
