Job Title: Academic Training Programme Director

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating training across the region. This role requires a strong background in clinical healthcare, with experience working at consultant level or equivalent in the specialty school area.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate training programs across the region
  • Work with the Head of School to produce doctors who strive for the highest standards of patient-centred care
  • Collaborate with local systems and providers to improve health outcomes and reduce health inequalities
  • Optimize the use of digital technology, research, and innovation to deliver accessible, compassionate care
  • Ensure our healthcare workforce has the right knowledge, skills, values, and behaviours to deliver high-quality services
Requirements:
  • Primary clinical healthcare qualification and experience working at consultant level or equivalent
  • Academic interest in training and education across primary and secondary care
  • Considerable experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context

We hold a Sponsor Licence, which means we may be able to sponsor you for a visa. To be eligible, you'll usually need to be paid the standard salary rate of at least £38,700 per year or the going rate for your job, whichever is higher.

Please note that colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend at least 40% of their time working in-person.
