This is a key role in our Channel Trading team, responsible for overseeing stock allocations and replenishment across all channels of the business. You will work closely with other members of the Channel team, as well as directly with our brand partners, to ensure the websites have the optimal stock to meet demand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate distribution of stock allocations across all channels, working closely with product merchandising teams to optimise stock levels and support daily replenishment parameters.
  • Support the generation of trade reports, conduct performance analyses, and identify actionable insights, both internally and in collaboration with brand partners.
  • Manage the daily distribution of data and imagery to effectively showcase Mint Velvet products on partner websites, maintaining regular communication with partners to enhance the brand's presence and explore opportunities to drive sales while mitigating risks.
  • Conduct regular site audits to ensure product is displayed and information is correct, providing a seamless customer journey.
  • Review stock levels regularly in our distribution centre, proposing trade actions to manage stock coverage effectively across all our partner sites.
  • Report on stock availability, identifying potential opportunities and risks, and communicate findings to the Junior Channel Trading Manager.
  • Analyse best-selling items across channels and challenge partners regarding any styles that are underperforming compared to the overall brand performance.
  • Coordinate seasonal updates and supply marketing assets to partners for use across their marketing channels, ensuring consistent brand representation.
  • Assist in range planning and maintain the critical path for our small partners.
  • Work closely with our distribution centre and brand warehouses to support the Junior Digital Trading Partner in maintaining smooth and efficient stock management.
  • Update and assist with Host WSSI processes.
  • Regularly review partners' websites to ensure product goes live within the agreed SLA.
  • Produce trade packs, including lessons learnt and materials for meetings.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis by monitoring competitors' websites and provide feedback on key findings.

Requirements:

  • You possess a strong commercial mindset, are numerate and data-driven, and have a keen interest in fashion.
  • Advanced Excel skills are preferred.
  • You can effectively communicate with individuals at all levels, from Directors to peers, articulating your ideas and suggestions clearly, positively, and convincingly.
  • You are confident in admitting when you don't have all the answers and proactively seek advice from others.
  • With excellent communication skills, you use strong questioning and listening techniques to ensure a shared understanding before concluding any discussion or meeting.
  • You are exceptionally organised, capable of prioritising your workload to consistently deliver work of the highest standard.
  • You focus on solutions rather than problems, demonstrating the ability to make key decisions within established frameworks.
  • As a self-starter, you are enthusiastic about learning and growing in your role.
  • You are a supportive colleague and mentor, able to influence and inspire those around you when necessary.
