Job Title: Sales Professional

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Professional to join our dynamic sales team at Daisy Communications. As a Sales Professional, you will be responsible for selling telecommunications, energy, or merchant services to small and medium-sized businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inbound and outbound sales calls with businesses to sell our products and services to B2B customers based on client needs.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with UK-based SMEs to drive sales from initial contact to closing.
  • Proactively identify and qualify potential customers to build a robust sales pipeline.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets while adhering to established strategies, call KPIs, and performance metrics.
  • Leverage CRM systems to effectively manage sales opportunities, track customer interactions, and maximise sales potential.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with the sales support/operations team to ensure a seamless customer journey from sales to fulfilment.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to effectively position products and services.
  • Accurately track and report on sales activities, performance metrics, and account information.
  • Resolve queries within industry/department lead timescale.

Requirements:

  • Previous sales experience is desirable, ideally in telecommunications, energy, or merchant services.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and understand client needs.
  • Negotiation/objection handling skills.
  • Highly motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of initiative.
  • Hardworking with a 'can do' attitude.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical products in a simple, effective manner.
  • Competency in using CRM systems and MS Office is highly desirable.
  • Self-confident with the ability to overcome objections.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude at all times.
  • Goal-oriented.
