This role offers the chance to work with pupils aged 5-16 with complex ASC & SEMH needs, supporting them to reach their full potential. As a SEN Support Professional, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons within the national curriculum, meeting complex ASC & SEMH needs, and reporting on pupils' progress and concerns to School staff.

A key part of this role is building positive relationships with pupils and driving interaction and positive learning outcomes. You will also be responsible for supporting class teams in facilitating learning and promoting positive behaviors. Key responsibilities include:
  • • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons within the national curriculum, meeting complex ASC & SEMH needs.

  • • Supporting class teams in facilitating learning and promoting positive behaviors.

  • • Supervising pupils during non-classroom time, including extra-curricular activities and school trips.


Required skills and qualifications:
  • • Hold qualified teacher status (QTS).

  • • Have previous successful teaching experience.

  • • Have some previous experience of working with pupils with SEND in an Educational setting.
