About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Brand Consultant to join our team at Ogilvy. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic brand plans that drive business growth and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day project engagement, owning workstreams and acting independently on specific project deliverables.
  • Support the management of client relationships strategically, commercially, and operationally.
  • Participate in strategic new business pitches and initiatives, developing growth opportunities across existing clients.
  • Ensure Ogilvy has an impact in client meetings.
  • Participate in all aspects of methodology and work, including analyzing quantitative and qualitative research, creative thinking, and developing strategic recommendations.
  • Scope and manage the financial and budgetary aspects of client projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with innovations in your area of expertise, contributing to the knowledge base and developing thought leadership.
  • Act as a role model, regularly sought out for views by peers and the wider team, and contribute to the development of analysts and consultants within the team.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of strategy consulting experience with a major consulting, research, or client company, specializing in brand and marketing strategy, brand positioning architecture, and/or brand innovation.
  • Able to develop breakthrough brand strategies, positionings, and innovations through a deep understanding of our clients' needs.
  • Challenging conventional views and presenting ideas persuasively to gain buy-in.
  • Able to draw critical human and cultural insights from data.
  • Able to translate strategic thinking to creative and innovative brand and marketing solutions.
  • A working knowledge of modern marketing principles and understanding of how to build powerful brands in today's market.
  • Experience and knowledge of portfolio management.
  • Comfort designing research approaches, managing research processes, and analyzing and distilling data to build robust, compelling, and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to work across multiple projects, with good organizational skills, flexibility, and adaptability.
