About the Job

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Culinary Specialist to join our team at Sycamore Lodge. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and presenting meals to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare meals for our residents, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Prepare and cook meals in a safe and hygienic manner, following strict food safety guidelines.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving stock, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and well-maintained, including routine cleaning and maintenance tasks.
  • Work collaboratively with our catering team to deliver excellent customer service and meet the needs of our residents.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a culinary or related role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
