About the Role:
- You will work closely with our catering supervisor to ensure smooth kitchen operations, maintain high standards of food quality, and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Our ideal candidate will have prior experience in volume cooking, ability to follow recipes, and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- As a Culinary Specialist, you will also contribute to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, manage inventory levels, and participate in ongoing training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and prepare high-quality meals, considering resident preferences and dietary needs.
- Ensure accurate portion control and presentation of dishes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and promote a positive work environment.
- Manage inventory levels, receiving, and checking stock to minimize waste.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years of hands-on cooking experience.
- Proven track record of working to strict food hygiene standards.
- Ability to follow recipes, open to experimenting with various cuisines, and willing to learn new techniques.
