Job Title: Communication Specialist

Estimated Salary: £43,500 - £49,100 per annum (dependent on experience)

We are representing a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Communication Specialist to join an exceptional team dedicated to neurorehabilitation in Lancashire.

This role offers the chance to help individuals recover from brain injuries and regain essential communication skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.

You will be working as part of a compassionate multidisciplinary team, making a significant impact on people's lives each day.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of individuals with complex mental and physical health needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored communication therapy programmes.
  • Work collaboratively with therapists, nurses, and support staff to ensure holistic, person-centred care.
  • Supervise junior team members, volunteers, and students.
  • Liaise with families and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
What We re Looking For:
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in managing dysphagia.
  • Skills: Ability to work autonomously while managing a diverse caseload.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build effective relationships.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with evidence-based practices and relevant assessment tools.
